Mebella
Description:
Measles and Rubella Vaccine (Live) I.P. is a lyophilized product containing Measles virus (AIK-C Strain) grown on primary chick embryo culture and Rubella virus (RA-27/3 Strain) grown on MRC-5 human diploid cells. The vaccine contains suitable stabilizers and is presented in lyophilized form, which has to be reconstituted with the diluent (sterile water for injection) provided along with it prior to administration.
Composition:
Each dose of 0.5 mL in vial lyophilized vaccine contains:
- Measles virus [AIK-C strain] – ≥ 103 CCID50 per single human dose
- Rubella virus [RA-27/3 strain] – ≥ 103 CCID50 per single human dose
Therapeutic Indications:
For active immunization in children of 9 months of age and older against Measles and Rubella.
Dosage form and strength:
Lyophilized vaccine to be reconstituted with Sterile Water for Injection (for Subcutaneous Injection) provided along with the vaccine vial(s).
