IIL has centralized quality systems under Quality Management (QM). Quality Management in IIL mainly focuses on systems that can sustain and improve quality. IIL follows harmonized Quality Systems across its units.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance in IIL improves bottom line by designing and monitoring everyday business activities that sustain and improve the Quality Systems to meet internal and external customer satisfaction.

Quality Assurance supports all processes starting from purchase to supply chain by eliminating lapses in Quality Systems.

Quality Assurance of IIL comprises of various sub divisions

  4. Validation and Calibration

Quality Control

IIL has a well-equipped Quality Control department for both Animal Health and Human Health. The facility complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Total Quality Management

IIL has embarked journey towards excellence for ensuring Business Processes and Quality in the products. IIL has adapted the TQM  model for implementing different initiatives across the organization. These initiatives such as Knowledge Sharing, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Quality Circles and Employees Reward and Recognition System have contributed positively and helped the organization in making rapid improvements in the practices and performance towards achieving sustainable competitiveness.

Integrated Management System:

IIL integrates all of its systems, processes into one complete framework, enabling an organization to work as a single unit with unified policy and objectives.

Regulatory Affairs

IIL has well established Regulatory affairs department. Regulatory Affairs department is responsible for the preparation of dossiers as per the country specific registration guidelines and internationally acceptable dossier format like ICH-CTD and ACTD and marketing authorization renewals.
